Users are reporting that their Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL units are rebooting and going into boot loop. Some users have also stated that the issue occurs while watching videos on Google Chrome 85 in landscape mode.
Moreover, another report states that the Pixel 2 XL reboots while using Spotify with Bluetooth earbuds. While Google has not acknowledged the issue on a wider scale, support representatives have suggested users to try removing some third-party apps which appears to have solved the problem.
A user responded to a Google support representative stating that after getting rid of several third-party apps the random reboot issue on their Google Pixel 2 XL also vanished. However, the user has also pointed out that a particular app might be causing the issue.

It seems that the “Light Flow Legacy :Led Control” app is triggering the random reboot issue on Google Pixel 2 units after the Android 11 update. This might mean that any third-party app that can manipulate system settings or behavior can cause this issue.
